Once you have this measurement, you can order or purchase the amount of bullnose required. While you can typically find bullnose in most tile stores, if you want an exact match to the tile you are using, it is best if you get it from the same supplier you purchased the tile. This will give you the assurance that the dye lot will match perfectly.
Once you have the bullnose, prepare the area for installation. Sand down any rough sections on the tiles and wipe the area to remove any dirt and debris. Take a v-notched trowel and apply a 5 linear foot section of adhesive, such as tile mastic or thinset, at a time and with a 45-degree angle. Taking the trowel and pressing a bullnose firmly into the mastic or thinset. Remember to space the bullnose using tile spacers and insert spacers when you get to smaller openings. You may need to cut bullnose pieces with a wet saw in order to fit accordingly.
Allow your adhesive to dry overnight and then it is time to grout the area. Apply the grout to the joints using a grout trowel, and then wipe down the area with a wet sponge to remove any excess grout. Finally, let the entire area dry for 24 hours before using the space.
